How to build an online store in Jordan, step by step

1. Decide what you sell and to whom

Before thinking about design, write on a single page: which products you will list in the first month, who the expected buyer is, and why they would buy from you instead of the shop next door. Those answers shape your home page, your categories, and even your tone of writing.

Start with a limited, well-organised catalogue instead of uploading everything at once. A tidy store with a hundred products and good photos sells more than one with a thousand blurry listings.

2. Prepare the content before development

What delays most launches is not the code, it is the content. Prepare these items in advance so the work moves quickly:

• Product photos with consistent background and clear lighting
• A name, short description and price in Jordanian dinars for each product
• Products grouped into main and sub categories

3. Choose payment and delivery that fit the market

4. Launch, then improve
